Dalaguete, known as the "Summer Capital of Cebu," celebrates the Utanon Festival each year, a vibrant display of the town's agricultural heritage. The festival, named after "utan" or vegetables, highlights the town's bountiful harvest, promoting the rich farming culture and unity of the local community.

The Utanon Festival brings together the community, not just for entertainment but to foster pride in Dalaguete's agricultural roots. It’s a vibrant reminder of the importance of agriculture in Cebu’s economy, culture, and daily life.

Although my entry didn’t win, I still feel privileged to have shared my perspective on the beauty and uniqueness of this celebration. Here's my take on the Utanon Festival, capturing its essence through the lens of culture, faith, and community.
