𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 | 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 — 𝐓𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐔𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐓𝐨 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐲 💚🤍
In a world crowded with professions, there is one from which all others are born.
𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.
It is not merely a profession one applies for, but a calling one answers. It is built from quiet perseverance when no eyes are watching, from courage when the world turns unkind, from compassion poured out even when the vessel is empty, and from a heart that chooses to stay.
Our teachers lend us the very grace they silently pray to receive. They offer us smiles even while carrying the weight of their own. They listen. They turn small moments into something vast. They become our refuge when the world feels too heavy to hold. They teach not only from pages, but from life itself.
If pressure lives in the chest of a student, it lives twice over in the heart of a teacher. Paperwork piled high, deadlines that never end, battles fought in silence, and a room full of different souls to understand each day. And yet, they still arrive.
But even the strongest hearts doubt. In quiet corners, some teachers whisper, “𝒜𝓂 𝐼 𝒹𝑜𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑒𝓃𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽?” They magnify a single misstep and forget the hundred little miracles they have done right, because for them teaching was never just a job. It has always been personal.
And still, they show up. Not because it is easy, but because someone has to hold the light. Some hold chalk between tired fingers. Some hold papers marked with hope. Some hold our entire future.
As Eraserheads gently reminds us, even on heavy days, we will get by, with a smile.
So let this be a whisper and a reminder to every teacher: 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣'𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙮. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙛𝙪𝙡. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣, 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧.
You taught us how to read, how to write, how to dream. And each day, you teach us the most enduring lesson of all, how to get by, with a smile.
Thank you for your endless love, your patient guidance, and your second chances. Thank you for being amazing above and beyond, Maam and Sir.
