HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT WAY WITH THE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER?

✨ you like the photographer’s style (you checked the portfolio and have seen at least one full photo story gallery from a family shoot)

✨you share the photographer’s lifestyle and values (you read/watched some info about, watched daily stories, and/or read posts) and get to know him/her a little bit closer with the help of social media)

✨ you start communication (once you’ve matched with above, ask for some more information, discuss things that will be important for you and how you see the future shooting)

✨you prepare for the photoshoot without pressure but with recommendations of your photographer (following some basic recommendations will do the result of the photoshoot much better, but doesn’t mean that it should become the most important and exhausting part of the photoshoot)

✨ you enjoy the company of your photographer (you meet at the photo shoot and get to know each other better, asking questions and telling about yourself and your family but do it from your heart as you would do with a new friend, not just to be polite)

✨ you share your emotions and thoughts (don’t be afraid to share your worries or excitement during or after the photo shoot, it will be very helpful for both and the result as well of course)

✨ you check the terms once more and wait for the gallery (please keep in mind that every photographer is very impatient in seeing the results of his/her work, but there are a lot of photoshoots in a queue and other unseen work as well)

✨ you get the gallery and give your feedback (please please it’s so important for creators and artists to hear how you like the result or what is needed to be changed if it’s possible, they do really care and looking for clients to be satisfied with what they get)

PHOTOSHOOT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

I heard this opinion along with the one about that " why pay a photographer when I have my mobile phone? " AND I DON'T AGREE, of course, ☺️

Does your weekend walk with a family is a waste of time? Or maybe your vacation at the seashore? Forest walks? And even just some home routine that you do everyday?

Would it be exciting and sentimental to look at your regular day of life and some favorite activities in your past life when 5-10-20 years will run?

Would it be interesting to see yourself from the side, be in the photos with your family, and not be the person who uses the phone to take pictures?

How cool is it to get a complete photo story that can be easily put in a photobook, that will be so easy to get, watch and keep?

How grateful will your kids and kids of your kids when they will become grown up that they have this piece of their childhood, there were so much fun and love, where mom's hands were always so warm and caring when you cried, when dad's arm was so strong that can be made you fly like a plane....

I'm so happy that my clients share my answers to all of these questions and trust me to document the most valuable that every family has - their life and love together 💗

P.S. Forgot one question about the waste of money: what will you remember your lifetime and pass to your descendants a weekly grocery pack/full fuel tank or a photo album?
