Wedding photos are repositories of all that is wonderful about life--uncontainable joy, the promise of love and eternal partnership, and bright wonder for the future. My burning desire to re-live my own wedding motivates me in all my wedding projects. However, more than the feeling of nostalgia, it also keeps me on my toes as I constantly ask myself "How do I want my wedding to be remembered?". In
every wedding album I create, I capture the little details and the big events in pictures to allow couples and their loved ones to relive the real emotions felt during the day. My kind of passion for wedding photography is refreshing. The excitement and the fresh set of eyes that I bring to each engagement and wedding coverage comes from years of nurturing the desire to practice photography professionally. When the corporate job I held for decades fell through, I grabbed the chance and put up Rolan Elix Wedding Photography. My shooting style? I would say modern contemporary. I go with the flow and acts on whatever shooting opportunities the venue and the day provides me. Picturesque backgrounds and interesting textures and settings comes into play as I allow the couple's uniqueness to naturally emerge. I am always on guard to capture spontaneous and fun moments as I know photographers like me does not get a second chance. I take perfect pictures the first time, even with editing techniques at my disposal. Love is what my camera captures. I believe love is something visible - look at the couples when they exchange vows, look into their eyes - that is what love looks like...
