PROCRASTINATION INSIDE THE INISTRY?
Someone asked my opinion about this matter. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang kakausapin ni Lord through this message... But lets talk about something that many of us ignore. "PROCRASTINATION INSIDE THE MINISTRY"
You served because you loved God.
You signed up because you said, "Lord use me." But sometimes, we forget that "use me" does'nt mean "when its convenient."
Kapag may gawain, may event, may fellowship o malawakang preperations, may mga leaders and volunteers ang bukambibig.
- "Practice nalang next week"
- "busy pa ako sa acads/works saka nalang"
- "ok lang yan matagal pa naman yung event"
- "basta present ako sa mismong araw"
But kapatid, can i something
Are you still offering your best to God?
Or are just offering what's left?
You know, to be honest po, I am really thankful for this message. Someone request it but sobrang tinuruan din ako ng Panginoon sa usaping ito. I hope we can all stay open and willing to learn. Lalo po yung mga nasa ministry.
Kase lets think about this:
Sometimes we want a revival in the event, you pray for the fire to fall, you want people to encounter God during the program, right?
Pero anong klaseng preperation ang ating ibinibigay?
Sometime we want power, but we don't want the process. We want result, but we resist responsibility. We expect the Lord to move migthily, but we don't want to move sacrificially.
Maging totoo po tayo.
Ministry is not about the event day. It's about the daily discipline leading to that day.
It's about the quite rehearsals, the hard meetings, the inconvienient adjustments. It's about dying to self so someone else can experience Jesus trough your service.
We blame the busyness, pero hindi natin maamin na nawala na yung fire natin for God's work
Let's Jesus remind you right now:
Hindi lamang nakating ang Panginoon sa kung ANO ang ginagawa natin, kundi sa king PAANO natin ginagawa at kung BAKIT natin ginagawa.
Maaari kase na tumayo tayo sa stage and still miss His presence.
We can lead a song, or a prayer but of our preparation was lazy and last minute we didn't honor God fully with our gift.
We don't serve a God of half efforts. He gave everthing for us and ministry is our responsibility. Not just in words but in works.
So next time your tempted to delay, next time you say "next time nalang"
Remember this:
"Preparation is worship,
excellence is obedience
And laziness is disobedience in disguise.
Don't kill the momentum God is building just because you're too used to comfort.
Kaya ngayon kapatid, if this message hits you please don't feel condemned. Feel convicted, because conviction is mercy. It's God saying, "Anak, let's fix this before it's too late."
The ministry doesn't need perfection. But it needs people who are willing, present and fully surrendered.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord not for men"
- Colossian 3:23
That includes EVERYTHING. Every tiny detail that no ones sees but God does.
"Serving is a privilege is not a schedule"
And it's really "para kay Lord," then dapat hindi lang dapat kapag malapit na ang deadline dun kalang nagkukuhamahog.
He deserve our best always.
