Some wedding dresses are beautiful.
Some carry generations of love.
For Fritzie, there was never really a “dream wedding dress.”
Until one day, her mom opened a box containing the wedding gown she had worn almost 27 years ago.
And beside it was another unexpected treasure her Lola Dolly’s old Filipiniana dress, with handwoven embroidery featuring Fritzie’s favorite flowers: sunflowers.
Instead of letting the dress stay in a box, they decided to bring it back to life.
For 3–4 months, Sir Jojo carefully restored the gown while keeping much of its original character and adding modern touches.
And on her wedding day, Fritzie wore something more meaningful than a brand-new gown.
She wore a piece of her mom’s story.
And somehow, even though Lola Dolly couldn’t be there, her dress made it feel like she was. 🤍
This is why we love weddings.
Because sometimes, the most beautiful photographs aren’t about the dress. They are about everything the dress represents.
