Carlogaid Photography Light. Elegant. Timeless. Do I typically lean towards bright light photography or do I just occasionally experiment on moody tones?

I guess I can say that I don’t really have a particular photography style. It isn’t always bright and airy, nor is it always dark and sultry. I’d like people to experience how I felt when I capture a particular moment; the excitement, the frustration, the inspirations, the flush and feel of it all; and most especially the stories shared in between these moments --- encapsulated in a photograph. I’d like to be as authentic as I can in my craft.

Some dreams are held in the heart for years, carried by faith and the trust that, in time, they will come to pass.

For Ruth and Kevin, seeing the wedding they had long prayed and hoped for finally unfold was something truly special. Surrounded by the people closest to them, they celebrated a love that had brought them to this long-awaited day. Being entrusted with documenting it made the experience all the more meaningful.

Their day was a reflection of everything they hold dear. An all-white celebration adorned with roses, delicate pearls, and lace, where every detail came together with a sense of grace and understated elegance. Yet beyond the lovely details was something far more meaningful: a love rooted in faith, a promise shared between two people, and the people who had been part of their journey gathered to celebrate it.

Some moments remind us just how special it is to see a long-held dream become a memory. Ruth and Kevin's wedding was one of them, and we are grateful to have preserved a day that meant so much to them.🤍

Kim and Uno, effortlessly in love.

When Kim shared how she envisioned their prenup photos, I remember feeling like we were already on the same page. Her vision felt so close to the kind of photographs we’ve always loved creating. Romantic, a little nostalgic, and full of feeling without having to try too hard.

And when we finally got to photograph them together, everything just made sense. The chemistry was there, so naturally. In the way they looked at each other, the way they held each other, and all the little moments in between. We hardly had to do much. We simply let them be, and somehow, that was more than enough.

Today, we get to document their story once more, this time as they begin their forever. And we couldn't be happier to be the ones capturing it.🤍

Some love stories seem to find their way to each other long before the people in them ever realize it.

Nico and Nicole were neighbors, went to the same college, and somehow found themselves in the same places again and again, even frequenting the same building, without ever really seeing each other. Looking back, it feels almost like a red string quietly weaving its way through their lives, crossing paths long before the timing was right.

And then, when it was.

Their wedding day felt like a reflection of that story. Burgundy in every shade, rich and deeply romantic, filling the celebration with the color of w**e and a love that had grown beautifully with time. Walking into their reception felt like stepping into another world, one dressed entirely in red, where every detail came together with such elegance and intention.

Perhaps some things are simply meant to unfold at their own pace. And seeing Nico and Nicole finally arrive at this moment, it was clear that theirs had been worth the wait.

It was a privilege to be there, to witness it, and to preserve a day that felt so completely, beautifully theirs.♥️

AJ and Princess’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and the coming together of two lives surrounded by the people who matter most. In a sea of sunflower yellow, Princess seemed to carry the spirit of the day herself, radiant, joyful, and full of life. From the warmth of the colors to the grandeur of the celebration, every detail came together with an effortless sense of beauty, creating a setting worthy of a moment so deeply cherished.

More than a celebration of two people, the day was a beautiful gathering of two families, with loved ones travelling from near and far to witness their union and share in the joy of this new beginning. Surrounded by so many familiar faces and generations of family, the celebration felt as meaningful as it was grand.

AJ and Princess, thank you for allowing us to preserve a day so rich in faith, family, tradition, and love.

From their pre wedding session, we already knew that Jay-ar and Belle’s love would be something so easy to capture. Despite spending much of their time apart, the distance never seemed to change the way they are with each other. There is a certain ease in their connection that comes through so naturally.

They had already married months ago, in an intimate celebration that was just for them. This time, they chose to celebrate again, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. Grateful to have met such genuine people, and even more grateful to have documented a day that brought so much of their story together.
