It’s long overdue to post about this Vietnam wedding of my friends, Jilson and Alyosha… but hey, better late than never 😂 I promised myself I’d still share this even if it’s already been a year ago.

Years ago, Vietnam was their first out-of-the-country trip together, where they made a simple promise: “One day, we’ll come back here and get married.” Last April 2025, they finally did 🥹

They got married at in Hanoi — a peaceful retreat place away from the crowd. The whole day was simple, intimate, no over-the-top glam shoots, and full of genuine moments.

Together with my good friends, We**ie and Kiko from .jpeg (the official photographers 📸), we did our best to capture everything even though they didn’t hire a videographer. Honestly, the day already felt cinematic on its own.

I had so many favorite moments that day.

First was Alya’s morning walk rehearsal. The moment she started walking, her mom instantly cried… and honestly, I got emotional too 😭 It really felt like the moment everything finally sank in.

Second, the first look. The second Jilson turned around and saw Alya, he cried immediately. And honestly… maybe that’s the moment it really hits you: “I’m about to marry the love of my life.”

Third, the speeches from their friends. Super heartfelt, super genuine, and definitely not safe from tears 😂

And lastly… Jilson’s karaoke moment during the reception HAHAHA.

We also got to spend time with Alya’s family, Jilson’s photographer friends, and his cyclist friends — and it honestly just felt like one big family gathering with extra emotions and good food.

Weddings like this are extra special when you personally know the couple. You’re there to document the day… but somehow you also become part of the memories 🥹

Hoping we get to witness and capture more weddings like this again soon. 🤍

Two weeks after their wedding day, we finally did Jeth and Kezia’s post-wedding shoot — yes, post! We skipped the usual pre-wedding and honestly… this might be my new favorite thing. The best part of shooting after the wedding? They’re already married, so there’s no need to be shy anymore. Kissing scenes? Unlimited. Approved. No permits needed. 😂

Before heading up to Baguio, we made a quick “side trip” to La Union… which quickly turned into our first photo session of the trip. Not complaining though, because the light that afternoon was just perfect. Super chill vibes, a little bit sunny, and the kind of weather that makes you want to just slow down and enjoy the moment.

Also, major respect to our bride Kezia who drove 5 hours from Bulacan to La Union. Yes, the bride was the road trip MVP. 🚗

The afternoon was already beautiful, but wait until sunset — wow. It was the kind of sunset that makes you pause for a second because it’s just that breathtaking.

During the shoot, I pretty much just let Jeth and Kezia do their thing. Splash in the water, chase the sun, laugh, run around… basically just play like kids outside. No heavy makeup, no flashy outfits, just them being themselves.

And honestly, that’s what I loved the most about these two. Simple, real, and completely in the moment.

Really enjoyed this shoot with them. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed making them. ✨

I met Pau way back in 2021 when we pedaled the DRT loop, and as far as I can remember, we only saw each other twice before this day — once at his cousin’s exhibit(Hi manong Chris!)… and then boom, his wedding day! 😅

Ever since then, I’ve been seeing Pau crush all these long rides, and honestly, every post makes me want to do bike loops too. Slightly inspired, slightly jealous… okay, very jealous — because my schedule could never (yet) 😂

Then one day, I noticed from his feed that there’s already a pretty girl riding with him on those bike tours. Couple Surly bikepacking bikes, crazy long rides — and the Siquijor loop?! That’s wild! That’s love.. I’m sure Pau also inspired this girl named Justine to take those adventures, take risks, and just say 'yes' to the ride.

I actually never met Justine until the day Pau messaged me asking if I could be their wedding photographer — straight from the group chat to the wedding day 😂 I was super honored. We had a few online meetings, and when they finally said yes, I was genuinely so happy and excited!

Fast forward to yesterday, January 10, 2026 — they got married at the beautiful and peaceful Pulong Kabyawan (which, by the way, is one of my go-to places whenever I want to do a solo ride… I’m so in love with that place!!). Seeing Pau and Justine exchange vows there felt extra special. We even ran into Pat (Pau's brother and JPeep hehe) too!

And oh God — God is so good. The weather was kind. It drizzled just a little, like a gentle reminder to slow down and feel the moment, but everything went perfectly. As I walked around Pulong Kabyawan, I couldn’t help but smile. I touched the trees, felt the air, and took everything in. In my heart, I knew — this day was made for Pau and Justine.

Then, 4:00 PM. Justine walked down the aisle. It felt like time paused. Surrounded by the people they love, there were smiles, and tears. We gave our best to capture their day.

When it was time to play the same-day-edit photo and film, I looked at the couple and their guests — the reactions were priceless! Pure joy.

Afterwards, Pau and Justine thanked us with a hug, and in that moment, we felt it: our team officially became part (bahagi) of their love story.

So now, we’re sharing their slideshow with you. There are a lot of photos, but these are the highlights. Hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed witnessing their day 🤍🚲✨

Still can’t believe I’m typing this 😅 I met Kezia back in highschool when she was the younger schoolmate, and now here I am—capturing her wedding day!

I honestly never expected or imagined that this season of my life would come, let alone that I’d still be part of the lives of people I’ve known… this time as their wedding photographer 🥹📸

Haaaayy... Time really flies so fast!

Congratulations again, Kezia and Jeth!
Will post more photos next!
