Zambales Attackkkk 16!

One of the very first events I attended after moving to the Philippines was Zambales Attack! It showcased incredible local talent with an epic Skim and Skate competition, capping off the night with a a high-energy music festival showcasing Zambales bands. Here are a few photos I captured during some of the skate and awarding portions. Huge congrats to all the winners—can't wait for the next one!

While I'm at it...

Throwing it back to March in Masinloc for another photo set! I wasn't working this event, but I couldn't miss the chance to catch one of my OPM idols Dionela live. When I first discovered his music, those nostalgic 2000 R&B vibes hit all the right notes—it totally took me back to an era of easygoing, timeless tracks, that my old ass is quite aware of. Watching him perform live elevated it even further; the talent and musicianship are just on another level. Really happy with how this set turned out—the varied lighting made all the difference.

Happy Viewing!

You thought I was gone, but I'm still here. hehe

Crawled out of my cave for a spur-of-the-moment night at IBar for Art Jam 2, and it would’ve been a crime not to share these shots of such passionate musicians in their element. Honestly, it feels like forever since the wifey and I got to go out and let loose, pretty sure this was my first drink of the year! Beyond grateful to catch up with the old friends who helped make my transition to calling the Philippines home so effortless. My go-to combo—the Fujifilm X-T5 and trusty 35mm f/2—never disappoints. Loaded up a Kodak Tri-X 400 film recipe to get that gritty, nostalgic look I had in mind, and it handled the night effortlessly.
