โ€‹Located just 4 kilometers across the bay from Kagoshima City, Sakurajima is one of the most consistently active stratovolcanoes in the world.

While the Philippines is world-famous for massive surf breaks like Cloud 9 in Siargao, there is a whole vibrant community of skimboarders and surfers right on the local beaches, tearing up the shorebreaks with absolute ease.

Watching these guys glide across the thin water, pop tricks off the incoming waves, and ride into a brilliant orange and purple sunset is pure magic.
