PICKUP TRUCK SURGES INTO PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY AFTER SUDDEN BRAKE FAILURE
CITY NEWS DESK — A routine early morning delivery nearly turned catastrophic today after a private pickup truck suffered sudden brake failure and shot directly into a pedestrian area around 4:00 AM.
According to initial statements and eyewitness reports, the driver had parked along the roadside to offload cargo for a local public market front. After completing the delivery, the driver returned to the cab and turned the ignition.
However, as soon as the engine roared to life and the driver engaged the transmission, the braking system completely lost pressure. The vehicle suddenly lurched forward, shooting uncontrollably into a narrow pedestrian alley and walkway before slamming into a building wall and perimeter fence.
