Working in Polly English has been one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life. I had just earned my license, and even though I felt proud, I was also scared to try. I kept asking myself if I was really ready. But despite all the doubts, I chose to take the risk and apply on my own.

Only a few people really saw how much I prepared for this. I spent so much time working on my introduction video, practicing for my demo class, and getting ready for my first trial lesson. I was nervous and kept overthinking everything, but I still pushed through because I wanted to prove that I could do it.

When I started teaching, I quickly realized that it was not easy. Each student was different. Some were active and excited, while others were quiet or not interested at all. There were times when I had to repeat myself again and again just to get a response. There were also moments when I felt tired and questioned if I was doing enough.

As time went by, I faced another challenge. My performance score was not as good as I hoped, and I was no longer assigned to trial classes or new students. It was discouraging, and it affected my confidence. I started to question myself again.

But even with that, I chose to focus on what I still have. I am truly grateful to the parents who believed in me and trusted me with their children. Because of them, I was able to come this far. Some of them even enrolled their other kids in my classes, and that kind of trust means so much to me. It reminded me that even if I am not perfect, I am still doing something right.

Looking back at my journey, I realized that growth is not always obvious. It is in the small moments. It is in the students who keep coming back, in the ones who slowly improve, and in the parents who continue to trust you.

Polly taught me to be brave even when I am scared. It taught me patience, especially when things do not go as planned. It also taught me to keep going, even on days when I feel like giving up.

This journey was not perfect, but it was real. And for me, that is what makes it unforgettable.
