HC-130J IN USCG COLORS SEEN IN MANILA

Last Sunday, there was a "rare" visitor that made a brief tech stop in Manila. Usually, planespotters here encounter C-130s from U.S. Marine Corps or Air Force almost regularly.

It arrived shortly before 12nn then departed 2 hours after. Hoping to see more white hercs in the future.

Full Disclosure: It might not be as rare as others might thought it be but it was my first time taking photo of this beautiful aircraft 🥳🤩

❤️ SINGAPORE LIVERY

Since the news of financial difficulties of AirAsia Berhad in social media in the past weeks, I started collecting their special liveries in their A320-200s and A320neos.

We won't know if when will the airline return its leased planes especially those special livery ones. One of the special liveries I caught recently is this beautiful ❤️ Singapore livery of 9M-AHZ.

DAY OR NIGHT, LTP WORKS ON THIS A380

LTP continues its round the clock works on A6-EUH especially its almost a month since it arrived in Manila for its maintenance cycle. It arrived last Sep 13 from Dubai.

A special shoutout to those people currently working on this aircraft!

DO WIDZENIA, DO ZOBACZENIA WKRÓTCE!

Goodbye and see you soon! in Polish.

Seen here were the two 737 that were used in transporting the Polish President and its delegation to Manila for a historic First State Visit of a Polish President.

The two were being repositioned from their parking bays in Terminal 4 to Maharlika and Balagbag ramp respectively. It was such a timing I was in the area when these two activated their transponders shortly before being repositioned.

Both were operated by the Polish Air Force.
They departed a few hours after this repositioning with 0112 flew to Dushanbe, Tajikistan for a tech stop, while 0110 flew first to Tianjin, China then Dushanbe.

Cancelled Flights Due to Security Situation in the Middle East

Cebu Pacific (CEB) continues to closely monitor and assess developments in the Middle East amid the ongoing security situation in the region. The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain our priority. CEB has taken the decision to cancel the following flights:
October 9:
5J 740: Manila – Riyadh
October 10:
5J 741: Riyadh – Manila
October 11:
5J 740: Manila – Riyadh
October 12:
5J 740: Manila – Riyadh
5J 741: Riyadh – Manila
October 13:
5J 741: Riyadh – Manila

Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the CEB website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:

1. Free Rebooking
Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund
Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund
A full refund of your ticket.

CEB is also providing flexible options, including free rebooking and Travel Fund conversion, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights to and from Riyadh scheduled until October 31. They may avail themselves of these options through the Manage Booking portal of the CEB website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

As this is a developing situation, some flight changes may take place in the next few days. We encourage passengers to regularly check their flight status at cebupacificair.com/flight-status and to update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive timely flight notifications.

We will continue to assess our Middle East flight operations and provide updates as necessary.

THE FIRST POLISH PRESIDENT TO VISIT PH 🇵🇭

On the occasion of the 53 Years of Bilateral Relations of the two countries, Poland's current president, Karol Nawrocki visited the Philippines. He arrived on the evening of October 5th aboard a Boeing 737-800 BBJ2 with registration number 0112.

It took him 13.5 hours to travel from Warsaw to Manila with a stop in Dushanbe, Tajikistan to refuel. This was made possible by the modifications made to the aicraft as well as the auxiliary tanks included in Boeing Business Jets versions of 737.

Seen here in the photo is the aircraft he rode and is named after Ignacy Jan Paderewski. He is a famous Polish pianist, composer, and statesman who also served as Prime Minister of Poland in 1919.

THE CLASSIC IL-76 ON DELIVERY SERVICE TO MANILA

Last Sep 22, a classic soviet-era designed aircraft landed in Manila for a quick cargo flight. It landed past 5 PM with a ground time of almost 3 hrs. It then departed for Vietnam around 8 PM. It is operated by Aviacon Air Cargo and this is one of six of their Il76.

About the aircraft, this is a classic Il76 because of the engines it used - Soloviev D-30KP2 engines. It produces the iconic, loud whine characteristic of classic Soviet-era jets before.

A few months ago, there's also another Il76 that landed but it was the modern one due to the change of engine, it used the newer and quieter, Aviadvigatel PS-90 engines.

As a planespotter, I'm still glad to see the classics in our home airport. Looking forward for more classics here.

SPECIAL LIVERY ALERT! FROM Cebu Pacific Air

Just fresh from the paintshop is another special livery on a Cebu Pacific A330neo (future RP-C3915).

We all know and also announced recently about the 5J's upcoming Dreamer Plane. This is not it since it was explicitly stated its an A321neo 😋😆. The aircraft in this image is not an A321neo.

Cebu Pacific sure loves to surprise us 🥳🥳🥳 especially they're celebrating 30th Anniversary. Looking forward for other new special liveries as well as the actual Dreamer Plane.
