It took me so long to find the courage to post these photos.
You were the first person who always supported me in everything I wanted to do. You were the one who always gave me advice on how photography works, and now, you're also my very first client—on your burial day.
This hurts me so much, Dad. This pain will forever haunt me. It will forever break me. But I know you're happy now. I know you're watching over me, and I know you're proud of me.
I wish you knew how proud I am to be your daughter. You had the happiest soul and were the most positive and joyful person I have ever known. I never thought this day would come. Losing you was always my greatest fear, and now it has become my reality.
I don't know how to move forward from this pain, but one thing I do know is that your love was quiet, selfless, and full of sacrifice. To my dad in heaven, please continue to guide me. I will carry every lesson you taught me for the rest of my life.
I am so proud of you, Dad. I will always be proud of you.
Maybe this pain will never truly go away, but I will always remember how you sacrificed so much, even hiding your illness just so we wouldn't worry. Because that's who you were. You always wanted us to smile, to stay positive, and to fill our lives with happy memories.
I love you always, my hero. Until we meet again.
