Uzbekistan: The Heart of the Silk Road 🇺🇿

A journey through ancient cities, grand architecture, quiet streets, and landscapes that still carry the traces of the Silk Road.

As a kid, I used to spend my breaks at the library reading books about the Silk Road. I found it fascinating because the people, culture, architecture, and landscapes were completely different to what I'm used to.

In a sense, the book made me feel like I traveled to Uzbekistan, but now, after seeing it in person, it felt nostalgic and at the same time very fulfilling. Uzbekistan has been so high on my list for the longest time and I finally got to visit.

Here's a short film of how I saw the country through my eyes 🎥.

glimpse of Uzbekistan 🎥

Working on a full video of Uzbekistan, a country which has been so high on my list since I was a kid. I was always fascinated by the Silk Road and what's it about in history books. Never did i think it was possible to visit this place until recent years. If there's one word to describe this country it would be Awe. In awe with its beautiful architecture.

The Land of the Free: Kyrgyzstan

This video is just a reflection of how my soul felt being there. Free 🗻🐎🍃

My favorite trip of 2025. We went in August, right in the middle of summer, when the highlands were green and alive.

Kyrgyzstan felt different. The mountains kept going, and most days we saw more animals than people, herds in the valleys, yurts in the distance, and long stretches of just land and sky.

There’s a different rhythm out there. Everything slows down, and the noise you’re used to just fades. It grounds you and makes you realize how little you actually need, and how much there already is to be grateful for.

My favorite season in Japan. It's a season that reminds us that everything is fleeting and we must not take anything for granted.

Kyrgyzstan, Seen and Felt 🇰🇬 📷

Some places can’t be justified vertically.
Kyrgyzstan was one of them. Wide, continuous, and uninterrupted. Spending time here, it became clear how small everything else really is. The scale of the land has a way of putting things into perspective.

The Celestial Mountains of Tian Shan.

One of earth's most remote corners. I have never seen and been to a place that is untouched, anf this majestic and serene. It truly humbled me and made me appreciate that I am actually just a small dot in this gigantic thing we call life.

Memories from Central Asia 🌏

Took a break from posting for a little while and went on a trip to India. It gave me a lot of perspective and inspiration to create a short cinematic piece 🎥 of Central Asia and explore on my editing style.

Time to get back to the editing cave 💻
