𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗦' 𝗗𝗔𝗬!

Today, as we celebrate the 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬, we give thanks to God for the gift of the priesthood and for the faithful service of our beloved priests, 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐌𝐬𝐠𝐫. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐨, 𝐏𝐂, Shrine Rector and Parish Priest, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐔𝐥𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨 "𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐢" 𝐃𝐢𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨, Assistant Parish Priest.

Inspired by the humble and prayerful life of the Curé of Ars, may our priests continue to be instruments of God's mercy, bringing Christ to His people through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and their loving pastoral care. May the Lord grant them strength, wisdom, holiness, and joy as they faithfully shepherd His flock.

Let us continue to pray for our priests and for all priests throughout the world, that they may remain steadfast in their vocation and always lead us closer to Christ.

As we welcome the month of August, let us pause from the busyness of life and spend time in the real presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. May this sacred moment of Exposition and Benediction deepen our love for the Holy Eucharist, renew our trust in God's providence, and fill our hearts with the peace that only Christ can give. Let us begin this new month by placing our prayers, hopes, and intentions before the Lord, knowing that He is always present and waiting for us.

The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina joyfully welcomes the Pilgrim Image of St. Therese of the Child Jesus as she visits our parish from August 2–9, 2026. This special occasion invites the faithful to come together in prayer and devotion, drawing inspiration from St. Therese’s “Little Way” of love, humility, and complete trust in God.

𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮.

We warmly invite everyone to join us every 23rd of the month at 6:00 PM as we gather in prayer, celebrate the Holy Eucharist, and seek God's grace through the loving intercession of Saint Pio.
