The KATHA Senior High School Visual Arts proudly congratulates 𝗞𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗔. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀 for securing 🥇 1𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 in the 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙨𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙞𝙨𝙬𝙖𝙡 (𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩) held at 𝙎𝙈 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙣𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙤.

Through his creativity and artistic vision, Kean James transformed the theme of heritage and progress into a compelling visual work—showcasing the talent and potential of the young artists of Angono.

The competition was part of the celebration of the 88th Araw ng Angono, with the theme:

“𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙠 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖, 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙜-𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙖𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖.”

A well-deserved recognition for a young artist who continues to create, represent, and make his community proud. 🖌️✨

🪨👀 TEKA LANG… ANONG LIHIM ANG NAKA-UKIT DITO?

Bago pa magkaroon ng libro, at social media—may mga kuwentong nakaukit na sa bato. 👀

Kilalanin ang “𝐒𝐢 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐔𝐊𝐈𝐓 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐋𝐘𝐏𝐇𝐒,” isang kuwentong pambata at pangkasaysayan na nagdadala sa atin sa pagtuklas ng Angono Petroglyphs—ang pinakamatandang sining sa Pilipinas, na matatagpuan sa pagitan ng Angono at Binangonan, Rizal.

Pero hindi lang basta mga guhit ang mga ukit na ito. Bawat linya, bawat hugis, ay may kuwentong dala-dala. Sa pamamagitan ng aklat na ito, masisilayan natin ang kasaysayan, kultura, at sining na matagal nang nakaukit—at patuloy pa ring nagbibigay-buhay sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang Pilipino.

👀🤔 Napansin mo ba? Bakit kaya nakapameywang ang mga Higantes?

Hindi lang basta pose ang kanilang tindig—may lihim, kuwento, at kasaysayang naghihintay na matuklasan!

Halina’t tuklasin ang kuwento ng mga Higantes ng Angono sa aklat na “𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐲𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬?”, na akda ni 𝗚𝗻𝗴. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗹-𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇.

At ating muling tunghayan ang mga likhang-sining ng KATHA Senior High School Visual Arts ng Grado 11 mula sa Regional Lead School for the Arts in Angono, at saksihan kung paano binibigyang-buhay ng sining ang ating kultura, kuwento, at pamana.

𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙣𝙖! Magbasa, matuto, at tuklasin ang kuwentong nakatago sa likod ng bawat Higante!

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Angono Tourism for giving us the opportunity to showcase our talents, creativity, and passion for the arts through our successful KATHA exhibit.

Your support in promoting and celebrating the artistic talents of Angono’s youth means so much to us. You helped create a space where our artworks could be seen, appreciated, and shared with the community.

This exhibit became more meaningful because of the people and organizations who believed in young artists like us. Thank you, Angono Tourism, for supporting KATHA and for being part of our journey. 🫶🏻

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon, Angono Tourism, Sir Totong Francisco II, Patnubay Tiamson, Sir Nani De Leon Reyes, and especially to our mentor, Sir Eugene Perez Jr. , together with all our dedicated teachers, for giving us the opportunity and support to showcase our talents, passion, and creativity.

This successful exhibit would not have been possible without the people who believed in us, guided us, and gave us a space where our art could be seen and appreciated. Every artwork, every effort, and every moment became more meaningful because of your support. 🤍

To everyone who became part of this journey, maraming maraming salamat po! This exhibit is more than a display of artworks—it is a celebration of young artists, their stories, and the people who continue to believe in their potential.

Halina’t saksihan ang “Paggunita sa Pamana,” isang eksibit na nagbibigay-buhay sa ating kultura, kasaysayan, at mga kuwentong minana mula sa nakaraan.

Tara, makiisa at pahalagahan ang ating pamana—dahil ang ating pinagmulan ay bahagi ng kung sino tayo ngayon. 🖼️🌿

Kilalanin. Pahalagahan. Ipagmalaki ang ating pamana.
