US 🇺🇸 o JAPAN 🇯🇵 ?

These bicycles were used by the Japanese and American soldiers during WWII in the Philippines.
No Alloy, No carbon, No aluminum, just pure heavy duty steel that can take any weather, terrain, situations and time. So what which one would you choose?

Caught these bicycles on display in Museo ning Angeles together with other WWII memorabilia. I was met and toured by toured by the museum curator Mr Lucio who welcomed all my questions. The bikes on display are claimed as “replicas” since they were acquired by a historian, artist and collector, Mr Dan Dizon, after the war around 1950’s. Mr Dizon saw the Japanese bike ridden and used by a pandesal vendor. He bought a new bicycle just to trade it with the Japanese bike. This bike is claimed to be in its original state, as it was used during the war.
The US Bike however was restored to its original look.
Both bikes are in rideable conditions but like any other items in the museum, they’re not allowed to be touched.
