Leadership does not happen by accident. It follows a process and proper way of choosing the right person. When we look at King Saul, we learn that leadership was chosen carefully, not just given to anyone.

Saul was selected, prepared, and then made king. It was not about showing off or wanting power. It was about being chosen to serve the people. This shows that leadership is a responsibility, not a chance to control others.

Today, leaders are chosen through elections, job interviews, or appointments. These are the processes we follow now. But the idea is still the same—leaders should be chosen based on their character, ability, and willingness to serve, not just popularity or connections.

God has already shown us that leadership should be done the right way. A good leader must be humble, honest, and responsible. They must think about the people, not themselves.

If we follow the right process and choose the right people, we will have better leaders and a better future for our country.

But remember this: the Son of God came to save the world. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again from death. His name and His work will never disappear, even when this world comes to an end.

Everything on earth may fade away, but the truth about Jesus and His sacrifice will remain forever.

Papua New Guinea People Must Wake Up
We the people of Papua New Guinea must start opening our eyes. Many things in our government are not right, but we continue to stay silent. This is very sad.

In many other countries, the people question and hold their government accountable. But here in Papua New Guinea, it feels like the government controls the people instead of the people controlling the government.

Our people must wake up and see the truth. Enough of sleeping. Enough of hiding.

Just last month, the Department of Works was questioned by a Parliament Committee about the Connect PNG program. This program has been running for years without a proper trust account. Where is the accountability? A huge amount of public money may be missing, yet many people remain silent.

Recently, our country was also placed on the grey list, but again our voices are quiet.

Where is the voice of the people?
Where is the people’s power?

Papua New Guineans must start thinking seriously about the future of our country. We must become true nationalists who stand up for our nation and for our people.

Now is the time for Papua New Guineans to unite and raise their voices. If we stay silent today, tomorrow may be too late.

These Miss PNG, Miss Tonga or Miss Pacific shows, people don’t really know who you are or what real change you will bring to society. There is too much focus on social media and talk, can we focus more on things that truly benefit our country and our people.

It is scary to see the comments people are making. I honestly don’t know where our country is heading. People are now making fun of and celebrating the death of leaders of this nation, and that shows how much trust has been lost.

My good leaders, please take a moment to think about yourselves, your families, and the future of this country. If the pressure is too much or if the people have lost confidence, it may be wiser to resign or retire with dignity.
