ONIELL HAS PAINTED A PICTURE WHERE EVEN A BLIND MAN CAN SEE.
Former prime Minister peter ONIELL is regarded as a cunning politician who brought PNG forward interms of infrastructure , health care Education, Economy and Law and order in this country over the past eight years when he was in power from August 2011 to May 2019.
Major Infrastructure projects
-Changing Port Moresby the nation's capital to where it is now as one of the standard cities around the world
-Major road links in remote part of PNG and stands roads projects in the rural cities Eg:Kagamuga to Togoba four lane ,Nazab to Lae Four lane.
-Built a world standard wharf in Lae the Industrial hub of Papua New Guinea. For a easy access of transportation of basics goods and service to the highlands Part of PNG
-K20million Upgrade for all airports across the country
-Built the National Football Stadium in Port Moresby as one of the a word class stadium in PNG
-Western Pacific University was the biggest project that O'Neill delivered. The University will cater students from all around the pacific.with the incoming of pacific islanders in PNG it will boost economy in one way or the other
-Health care
Free health care across the nation which made life easier for ordinary citizens across the nation who can not afford the basic Medicines and Medical Treatment ,which increase the life expectancy of Papua New Guineans.
-Education
Oniell placed the free education policy to leave no children behind ,every children must get the chance to be educated to increase literature in the country to cater for the over loaded population in schools and no enough Tertiary institutions Oniel built the Western Pacific University,built more teachers college nursing college and TVET to cater for the number of students.
-Law&Order
Oniell reviewed the democracy many times to ensure law and order issues are carried out equally and he also reviewed all courts systems in his 8 years term as PM
ONIELL WAS THE GREATEST PRIME MINISTER TO EVER SET FOOT ON THE FLOOR OF PARLIMENT.
