Website relaunch 🪸

After 5 years, I completely reimagined my website to better reflect my work, my values, and where my journey is headed.

A website is such an essential extension of an artist’s identity, a place where intention, story, and vision meet. Yet so many creatives don’t get to show their work the way it truly deserves to be seen.

That belief is what led me to create in 2018
Alongside life underwater, I design websites, craft visual identities, and support creative, ocean-driven, and purpose-led projects through web design, graphic design, and social media strategy.

And within this new space…
🌊 Prints are now available, my most meaningful images
👕 New t-shirts just dropped
📩 Open to commercial & collaborative projects

This website is only the beginning.
An evolving place for ocean advocates, storytellers, and nature-driven souls to connect, learn, and grow together.

Your feedback means everything and if your website no longer reflects who you are, you know where to find me 🤍

A morning spent with in the ocean 🏄🏽‍♀️

STORY:

I’ve learned how to fly a drone and it gives so much more freedom creatively. I always loved the paintings that appear with shadows and disappears as the sun comes up. It was a perfect match to have Nina paddle in this beautiful palm tree ocean surrounded by blues hues and lush green 🩵

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 24 🐼

I’ve held onto this moment like a treasure for more than three months. Left speechless after witnessing the incredible: the orcas of French Polynesia.

For many of us, meeting them is a lifelong dream. This pod is incredibly elusive, spotted only a few times a year by fishermen far offshore. Seeing them is rare… swimming with them isn’t even something you dare to consider.

STORY

September 18th - whale tours are cancelled due to a 3–4 m swell and 35 km/h winds.

7:20 am - I wake up to a call from saying orcas have been spotted off Opunohu Bay. He sends me a fisherman’s story to check.

8:00 am - About 20 minutes later, we’re at the viewpoint above the Sofitel: him with binoculars, me with a telephoto lens, trying to spot something. The rain rolls in. After an hour of seeing nothing, we leave.

9:40 am - But ’s dream of seeing them never fades. He calls , who is already on his way, as ’s team has just spotted them.

10:30 am - Off we go to meet the crew, the warriors, for what would become the best day of the season for me.

2:00 pm - We meet in between Mo’orea and Tahiti, but they’ve lost the orcas. We keep searching. Hope starts to fade after more than three hours at sea.

2:30 pm - The golden call. A captain rings: he’s found them. We have a 20-minute boat ride to the GPS point.

2:50 pm - A massive dorsal fin rises from the deep, slicing through the water. There they are. The pod appears and we’re screaming with excitement: ORCAAAAAS!!!

3:03 pm - We’re in the water with them 🐼
What a moment. What a ride. Feeling incredibly lucky and deeply blessed by their presence.

This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The orcas of French Polynesia are elusive, fast, and somehow always arrive with bad weather. They cut through the water as if the 3-meter waves didn’t exist.

Endlessly grateful to for calling me to join this lifetime adventure, to for navigating the roughest conditions and risking his boat, and to nature itself : thank you 🩵🐼

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 21 🪸

Beneath the ocean’s surface lies a wonderful world where roses aren’t always red, but blue, green, yellow, pink…
The roses of the sea: corals 🌹🩵

FACT:
This photo was taken at 40 m depth without artificial lights, which makes it difficult to capture the true colors. At this depth, most warm colors are already absorbed by the water, so shapes and structures become more important than color.

The coral shown here is Porites rus. Funny enough, the last photo I shared of this species looked very different in shape. As we go deeper, light intensity decreases, and this strongly influences coral morphology.

Corals are animals living in symbiosis with photosynthetic algae (zooxanthellae). These algae need light to photosynthesize and provide energy to their coral host. When corals grow with many peaks or branches, light doesn’t pe*****te efficiently to all tissues at greater depths.

To compensate for reduced light, many coral species, including Porites, show phenotypic plasticity:
they grow flatter and broader, increasing surface area and light exposure. This results in these stunning rose-shaped, plate-like coral fields commonly seen in deeper reef zones.

Note:
This vast coral reef is very healthy and, despite multiple bleaching events, it has retained its structure and vitality, an encouraging sign of reef resilience and

In these preserved waters the colonies of sea lions and fur seals are massive. The pups are born in summer and begin learning to swim early, becoming more confident in the water as winter arrives.

Great white sharks are present all year long, but winter season attracts bigger predators to the landscape here, drawn by the growing activity in the water. Massive female great white sharks are seen patrolling these waters 🦈

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 19 🫧

Blowing bubbles is a behavior commonly observed in many marine mammals, especially whales and dolphins. They use bubbles for a variety of reasons, including:
-Communication: bubbles can act as visual signals during social interactions
-Hunting: such as bubble-net feeding used by humpback whales to corral prey
-Playfulness: calves and juveniles often blow bubbles during play time

In humpback whales, bubble production is frequently observed during the breeding season, particularly in heat runs (competitive groups where multiple males pursue a single female). In these situations, males may use large bubble bursts or bubble streams as agonistic or dominance displays to intimidate rivals and discourage them from approaching the female.

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 18

When the ocean offers so much variety, it’s hard to explain how a reef in Tahiti differs from one in Mo’orea, or from another in Australia. I think these photos perfectly illustrate just how diverse the reefs we encounter in the ocean can be and this is only a small fraction of the seascapes we get to see.

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 18 🤿

Last week, I went scuba diving at a spot I believe very few people have ever explored. What struck me most was the sheer amount of life: massive schools of fish, countless nudibranchs, and a literal carpet of button polyps. Sharp cliffs defined our diving corridor, looking almost black from afar in the murky water, yet up close they were covered in vibrant yellow sponges and deep burgundy tones.

I can’t wait to go back. I haven’t been this surprised by a dive site in a long time, such a truly stunning place 😍

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 17 🐋

Humpback whales in the South Pacific are endlessly curious, no other species compares! When they get interested and decide to come close, it’s all for our enjoyment. There’s never a dull moment with them. Even in the murkiest waters, seeing them is always worth it… though the cold wind and playing hide-and-seek sun can make it a little tricky.

This year has been full of unforgettable moments. Even after 7 years of swimming with these amazing creatures, I never get bored. Every encounter is different, and seeing whales you met a few years ago swim by again is just magical. I seriously love whale season! Next year will be extra special for me because I’ll be stepping into a new role as a trip leader.

I feel so lucky to be part of an incredible team of wildlife experts at our motto says it all: “We go where others don’t, to see what no one sees!”

We can’t wait to share these adventures with you next year 🥰

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 14 🐢

This past week has been filled with so many ocean adventures, and this moment stands out from all of them. Sometimes we focus so much on spotting the big animals, whales, sharks… we forget about the lagoon. But moments like this are truly unique, a once-in-a-lifetime, perfectly timed experience. I turned around and this turtle surfaced literally right next to me, with eagle rays swimming just below.

How amazing is the ocean, always gifting moments I never expect 🥰

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 13 🐡

Nothing is more exciting than discovering a tiny frogfish in the immensity of the ocean. This particular species lives exclusively among floating algae, Sargassum, perfectly hiding itself within it, which is where it gets its name: the Sargassum frogfish.

Being far offshore never gets tiring, because there’s always something new to look for 🌊

Ocean Advent Calendar Day 12 🐋

The bond between mother and calf is something sacred. Across every species, it carries the same quiet power, a story of beginnings. It reminds us of who we once were: small, curious, and guided by the steady presence of those who came before us
