My parents came to America from Peru with faith, courage, and no English—only the belief that their sacrifices would open doors for their four girls. My father arrived first in New York, working long days in a place that felt unfamiliar, building a future he couldn’t yet describe in words. My mother followed with the same strength, and together they created a home rooted in love, resilience, and hope—a foundation so strong it now cradles ten grandchildren. They fell in love with this country for the opportunities it gave us, while never letting go of where they came from. Because you can start with nothing, belong to two worlds, and still build something beautiful: a family, a legacy, a life that stretches across borders. Grateful to be American. Forever proud to be Peruvian. 🇵🇪 🇺🇸
