Took a small break last week to get off island, get some sleep and electricity and reset.

Went back to Black River today for another rescue mission!

This big boy was lost on the main road in Treasure Beach.

Thanks to Game Wardens Owen, Shane, and Bertram and the rest of the community for helping to get this guy safely in the back of the pickup.

This poor guy had some injuries from a fight with another croc so it was especially important to get him somewhere safe quickly.

Remember, the crocs were here LONG before us and we owe them protection and respect.

As always, thank you to Treya for all the calls and guidance and for caring so much about these sweet dinos.

Also big up to my husband for driving today; always extra fun adventuring with you.

The came with 2 helicopters to Treasure Beach a few days ago.

They brought care packages and supplies for members of our community here.

They were warm and friendly and were sent off with loud cheering and clapping from everyone at the sports park.

I want to thank the JDF and the Air Wing service members for all their incredibly hard and important work at this time.

Today is Veterans Day in America, and I would also like to thank all for the members of the American Military (both active and retired) that have been on the ground here in Jamaica over the past few weeks.

We haven’t had a day since the storm where we have not seen Chinooks flying over our house, and the sounds of those big birds are always reassuring.

Today marks 2 weeks from the storm, and 2 weeks with no water, cell service, or electricity.

We got a call this morning that there was a jamcroc stuck in a large pit at a construction site.

We picked up 2 games wardens who are the local croc whisperers here in Great Bay and got this little guy safely to the Great Pond.

Storms like this really confuse the crocs and they often end up in places where they shouldn’t be. This leads to severe dehydration and starvation and it was really important we got him out quickly and safely.

Thanks to our Game Wardens, Bertram and Howen, and to Treya for all the assistance and advice!
