Not every frame arrives ready.

There’s a process before the image exists — deciding the pose, finding the angle, placing the fabric, then adjusting it until both sides feel right. Small corrections. Small decisions. All of it invisible in the final photo.

Hay un proceso antes de que la imagen exista — decidir la pose, encontrar el ángulo, colocar la tela, ajustarla hasta que ambos lados se sientan correctos. Pequeñas correcciones. Pequeñas decisiones. Todo eso invisible en la foto final.

The body as architecture.
Some images stay with you not because of what they show — but because of what they solved.
This was 2022. One of the first times Melissa and I worked together. We were still figuring out what the fabric could do — what happened when it stopped being a prop and started being a structure.
Turns out it could become almost anything.
