Hi and welcome 🙏
I’ve never properly introduced myself here, so it’s about time! I’m Nina, originally from Germany. My love for photography sparked during my teenage years, starting with a little blog where I shared my photos for fun.
Life took an adventurous turn when I met my future husband. We decided to quit our jobs, sell everything, and embark on a two-year journey around the world. Armed with a new camera, I honed my photography skills, capturing our travels across 13 countries. Along the way, we took on our first professional photography and videography jobs in Australia, Indonesia, and Bali.
After returning to Germany, we knew it wasn’t our final stop. We moved to a beautiful island in Bocas del Toro, Panama, where we built a thriving career as photographers and filmmakers, capturing real estate, food, events, weddings, and portraits. It was an incredible experience, constantly pushing each other’s creative boundaries.
Our lives shifted when we decided to start a family. In the midst of the pandemic, our daughter was born at home in a small jungle town near Panama City. This brought profound changes, both personally and professionally. With tourism dwindling due to Covid, and my desire to be present for my baby, my husband Oliver returned to his software writing profession.
Throughout this time, I never fully stopped photographing, but focused on documenting our children’s lives privately. Since then, we’ve been balancing life between Europe and Panama, spending winters in Portugal and exploring Panama’s coast. In December, we welcomed our second daughter in Lisbon, and now that she’s 5 months old, we’re back in Panama, ready to settle for a while.
As my children grow, I’m thrilled to reignite my passion for photography and share more of this beautiful journey with you all. I’m happy you’re here, watching me grow and enjoying the journey of life together! 📸✨
