Enriche Photography

Enriche Photography Family Photography + Cake Smashes! Because every family is unique, I will create an individual package to suit your needs. Karla

Together we can decide the length of your session and how you would like your final images presented to you (E.g.: images on CD, variety of print sizes, canvas prints, or any combination). An unlimited number of photos will be taken and once narrowed down, a final selection will be emailed to you so YOU can choose which images you would like to purchase. As I work from home, I offer the opportunit

y for professional photos taken in a relaxed, homely environment. I have a small indoor studio, and large outdoor gardens, allowing you to choose the setting which will suit you and your family. I have a variety of props available and am happy to incorporate your own ideas and special treasures into your photos. I am a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and have worked in the field for 12 years. Now that I have two young children of my own, the time has come for me to combine my passion of 'Children and Families' with 'Photography'. I have also discovered a love for photographing children doing outdoor 'Cake Smashes!' on their first birthday (second and third birthdays have also been included). Photographs create precious memories and I look forward to helping capture some wonderful memories for you and your family.

Hi everyone.
Well, it has been quite some time since I posted on this page. 2021 saw 2 more surgeries for me on this journey, and I haven't picked up my camera for quite some time. At the end of November we added to our family with a Sprocker spaniel (Springer/Cocker cross) puppy, and last week I decided it was time to take some photos of her as she is growing BIG soooooo fast!
I thought I would share one of my favs with you....

Feel free to share your puppy spam with me below - what better way to make everyone smile 😄

If you are in Whangarei and looking for something different for the kids to do next week, get in touch with Emily!
When I was photographing lots of cake smashes, Emily was my AMAZING baker. I definitely recommend her and these classes will be so much fun 🤩

SCHOOL HOLIDAY CUPCAKE CLASSES!

Im going to be holding a few pretty relaxed 'non formal' cupcake decorating classes next week for the School Holidays!
If you have kiddies that would be keen on doing this (adults welcome too 😅) send me a message to book a slot! I will need minimum numbers to cover costs (venue donation/ingredients etc)
Just a little bit of fun and something different! If your little ones are 7years+ you can drop them off and have 2 hours to shop or chill or feel free to hang around.

Share the word, bring a child or two + a friend and let's see how this goes ❤ could be an ongoing thing...at different experience levels 🤔

Hi everyone.
Things have been a bit quite from me lately, so I thought it was time for an update.
The rod that was put in my leg is to long and is preventing me from being able to kneel or squat - meaning I can't easily take photos!
I am currently looking into having it removed, but in the mean time, I have started a new business making personalised body butters and hand lotions. In time I will also be back taking photos and it will all be done under my new business name Enriche.
I will put a link to my new page in the comments and if you would like to know more or continue to follow me, please come on over and give the page a 'like'.
Karla 🙂

Today I put my brave pants on and did my first photo shoot in 9 1/2 months.
Here is a 'behind the scenes' photo taken of me in action with 2 gorgeous girls - more of them to come!

I don't know Becky, but after my experiences this year, I do know that I would have really struggled to get through without having my wonderful family around (and of course the support of so many incredible friends).
I hope Becky is able to get home to be with her family, and most importantly, support her Dad.
If you can donate - even a little - I know your support would be hugely appreciated.
Click on this link to read Nichole's post (from Emmy & Me) and there is a link in the post to the give a little page she has set up for Becky.
Good luck with raising the funds guys and all the best to you and your Dad Becky xx

I was planning on going live and chatting to you guys about this, but I just can't because I can't get the words out.

This is my beautiful friend Becky Eliza Keen and her equally beautiful husband Tate. I don't use the word beautiful lightly, and I don't mean it in the conventional sense of beauty. These guys are the kind of beauty that doesn't age, or expire, or wither - they are just genuinely beautiful people and Emmy and I are so blessed to have them be a part of our little kiwi fam.

I met Becky not long after she and Tate moved to NZ (Becky from England and Tate from the US) to start a new life, a new business ( Keen Kitchen )and eventually a little family of their own (I keep nagging, I can't wait for this!).

Despite having amazing friends here, and practically being kiwi's now, it's pretty tough when your entire family is thousands of miles away, even worse when something goes horribly wrong.

Two days ago Becky's dad had a horrible accident at work and broke his neck. He's had massive surgery and now has a long, slow road to recovery ahead.

My beautiful British babe needs to get home to be with her family, and I plan on doing every thing I can to help her and her family out by getting her there.

I promised Becky's mum that I would look after her - I'm a mum and I can't imagine how hard it would be to have your baby girl living on the other side of the world - and I know that Becky would never ask for help, although she'd be the first person to help anyone else.

So, I've set up http://givealittle.co.nz/cause/getbeckyhome to try and help ease their worries at this tough time. I wish I could do more, but I'm hoping that if enough of us band together we'll be able to get Bex on a flight home as soon as possible because I've done everything I can to comfort her here, she just needs to be with her family.

If any of you are able to donate I would be so grateful, and I know Becky and her family would be too. Please feel free to share this around - I know Becky and Tate are well loved and well respected in our little community, and I'd love to show them how much they mean to us.

Becky, my friend, I love you and I wish I could do more. All of our love to you, Mummy Starr, and your sisters, and all of the greatest Bowie hits for your dad 💜

I was taking a few photos of the kids with their lambs this afternoon and my 5 year old daughter asked if she could have a turn with my camera. This is the result - not bad for her first ever effort with a manual camera :-)

Back in the paper - Whangarei Leader this time :-) (I was in the Advocate a few weeks ago as well)
If you haven't already, I would LOVE it if you could sign the petition. The link is in the article. I am hoping to start sending it off to a few places soon!
Thank you so much to all of you for your continued messages of support and encouragement.

Hi everyone.
I have started a petition about getting bollards put in place where there are perpendicular car parks outside shops.
I would really appreciate your support in signing the petition and sharing it everywhere you can think of!
Thank you for your continued support!
Karla

Recently I was involved in an accident where my daughter and I were hit by a car while we were inside a shop.  If there had of been bollards in front of the car parks, which are perpendicular to the shop, we would not have been hit and our lives would not have turned upside down!

Hi everyone.
I wanted to let you all know that I will be posting a few collages from shoots prior to my accident when I can over the next few weeks.
Unfortunately I am still not mobile enough to get back to taking photos, so I am not taking any bookings at this stage.
Karla ❤️
