Hello all. Life update incoming...

Man, things have changed around here in the last couple of years. We've had a city move, bought and sold a home, had a family separation, an autistic diagnosis, a couple of job changes, and just...life!

I have wanted to keep my beautiful business running along in the background but the last few months have really realised that it is not going to tick along in the background without a bit of time and effort, which I simply don't have currently. So...I am closing down Caitlin Spear Photography. This might be a permanent thing...it might be temporary but coming back with a rebrand. Just depends on if I can get a bit of stability and consistency going so I can be comfortable booking people in advance. But the age old saying, you can't pour from an empty cup, is very much how it is right now and as much as I love photography and photographing families...my own family has to come first.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me in the last 6 years...whether I have photographed your family or you've simply liked and shared my posts - I appreciate you all!

So...onward we go x

Take advantage of the school holidays and jump in to a mini session for some quick, fun photos with the kids!

I have some spaces available from Oct 7-9 in the afternoons. I am thinking about local parks - Totara Parklands, Hodges Park, Raumanga Valley, Mair Park - so if you want first choice for a particular day/location then book in first (I'll book the others behind you for the same location).

Side note - how fast has this school term gone! Insane!

10 minute sessions at a local Whangarei park, with beautiful wide open space, big gorgeous trees and a river to sit beside. I am so excited at the variety in this space for photos.

Saturday 6 July - morning and afternoon spaces available.

Had some fun exploring the Rose Gardens and Fernery recently with my two little loves. The Fernery is such a great option for a session with just a couple of people - maybe maternity, or Mum and Bub, or a couple shoot. The light coming through into the fernery is just gorgeous.

Extended family sessions - such a great way to capture everyone at one time: Grandparents, Grandchildren, parents, cousins, brothers, sisters...We did this with the Grimmer's recently and they came together for a meal and spent 40 minutes in the paddock capturing some beautiful memories! What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon xx
