Shaula — bright tail/stinger star
Lesath — companion stinger star near Shaula
Sargas — bright lower Scorpius star
Dschubba — central body star
Acrab — multiple star system
Jabbah — multiple star system
Alniyat — near Antares
Pi Scorpii — upper Scorpion body
Tau Scorpii — hot blue star
Epsilon Scorpii — mid-tail star
Mu Scorpii — binary system

Out shooting Birds at Pauatahanui Inlet with Erin Robson Photos Tuesday 19 May. An early start from the Wairarapa but well worth the effort. Kingfishers were delightful
so were the other bird life

A wee roadie to Christchurch early December and Whale watching with Air Kaikoura Aero Club and Pilot Ben. Managed to score the right hand seat on a perfect day. Manu a local s***m whale showed towards the end of the flight.
Got a couple of shots of him on the surface and as he dove to the deep
