We love a good reflection 👌🏻
One thing that shocked me when visiting Queenstown was how dry and hot it was. You’re so used to seeing images of lush, snow covered scenes but then you visit mid summer, obviously knowing it wouldn’t be snow covered, but I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be so dry. We got told that Queenstown hadn’t had any rain for a long time but the weather followed us Wellingtonians and it rained every day we were there (I’m sure the locals were happy about that) despite how dry, humid and hot it was in Queenstown it is still one of the most beautiful and mind blowing places I have ever visited, you can just envision how magical it would look in winter covered in snow. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, we will definitely be going back in winter ⛰

Another bridge shot from Queenstown 🤭 but let’s just talk about how freaking blue that water is 💦 STUNNING! 💙

I finally got down to Queenstown, the first time I have ever been and oh my gosh I can see why photographers fall head over heels with this beautiful part of the world. Queenstown has stolen a piece of my heart, that’s for sure.
It was only a short stay, and I was with my family so I was very limited of where I could explore but I can not wait to come back down, hopefully next time in winter so I can see this magical part of the world in all its glory 🏔❄️
I have SO many photos to sort through, but here is my shot of the famous old police hut in Arrowtown 🍂

Spent the weekend in Whanganui for the start of Cam Lee Brennan-Belworthy in-line hockey season. I can only handle so much hockey, so today I went on a solo adventure to Dawson Falls in Egmont National Park at the base of Mt Taranaki. I had hoped to hike Pouakai Circuit Reflective Tarn but time was not on my side (just means there will be another weekend away to be had) so in true JacintaLee fashion I was hoping there was an alternative way to photograph this majestic mountain. The closer I got to Egmont National Park, this road lined up Mount Taranaki perfectly! I still got to photograph this beast of volcano, just not the famous Instagram way 🗻

Golden goodness 🌻✨💛
Hey IG fam, your girl is still around just silently watching in the background. But I’m back and I’m sure you would know if you follow my personal account or my account I share with my fiancé you would know that over the weekend we visited Wellingtons first sunflower field .sunflower.field 🌻 boy oh boy was it such a magical sight and oh so golden and buzzing with bees 🐝 which wasn’t a great time for me being terrified of them but I braved it and admired while wandering through the beauty of rows and rows of stunningly happy and bright sunny flowers, one of my all time favourite flowers and a long time dream location to shoot with my trusty Nikon 🌻💛🐝✨

Supposed to be exploring the South Island right now, but as for many any type of travel has been put on hold thanks to Covid. So I decided to edit some images from our last weekend away.
Hobbiton is still one of the most magical places I have ever been, a must do for any LOTR fan 🧙🏻‍♂️ I even recommend going if you’re not a LOTR fan as it is just so much fun pretending you’re a hobbit!
This is the bee keepers house, one of my favourite little holes in the ground 🐝

Wellington has been famously windy and wet the past few weeks 🌧 With the weather on my side for some pumping waterfalls, my partner and I ventured down to our favourite local spot and in true Jacinta waterfall hunting style nearly got us trouble and stuck in knee deep water. But as always, it was well worth it 💦 Scroll back a few shots to see comparison of the same waterfall with the difference of some torrential rain ☔️

Red Rocks, Wellington. Such a beautiful coastline to explore with an abundance of sea life. If you’re lucky enough you can see whales & dolphins or if you’re me, you might just almost step on a seal 😅 The colourful rock pools are full of weird and wonderful critters, we found a few crabs some sea stars and lots of beautiful shells. If you go on a clear day, you will be able to see the South Island and I recommend staying for sunset, one of the most magical views I have ever seen 🌈🌞

Hamilton Gardens is by far the most beautiful Botanic gardens I have ever visited 🎋 the display of international gardens had us feeling like we had just traveled the world. Here is part of the Chinese gardens, surrounded by a bamboo forest with reflections to die for 💚
