Yesterday I had one of the most wonderful experiences of my life.

I got to photograph one of my TRUE musical heroines, Suzanne Vega.

There are some moments where being a photographer feels like an absolute privilege. This was definitely one of them. ❤️📸

'Lovers on the shore'. This shot was inspired by Jane Campion's 1993 Oscar winning masterpiece- The Piano. I took this on the same west Auckland beach that was in the film, during a cold sundown in the middle of August 2020.

Well, wouldn't be NZ fashion week without posting some of my fave shots taken over the last few years. I shot this with NZ fashion modelling legend Trudy Van Zyl at Bethells beach near Auckland on this day back 2020.

'Like a Thief in the night- They will come!" The SAS / NZ defence force leave Curious Cove in the Marlborough Sound at dawn after a successful 'Shock and Awe' hostage retrieval exercise. One of the last shots I managed to get that morning as they went back to Port Underwood to debrief. Taken by Me Phil Greig of PhilmHaus NZ.
