So sad to say goodbye to everyone at the young leaders event this afternoon; i look forward to continue growing our friendships. Didn't want it to end, but life goes on and now we have some awesome ideas and skills to take back to both our girl guiding units and personal lives. Thanks to the organizers, participants and everyone we met along the way for a great weekend.

Make sure you get to Shed 6 on Queens Wharf tomorrow to see the NZIPP Iris Awards, there's an exhibition of images that have already been judged during the last two days and you can view the judging itself. Some of New Zealand's best photographers will be there or have their images being judged.

The annual Epson/NZIPP Iris Professional Photography Awards is New Zealand’s only professional photography competition. The aim of these print awards is to recognise and honour the best in contemporary photography from New Zealand and overseas professionals.

The NZIPP Iris (photography) awards is in Wellington over the next few days. It's the first time I haven't been helping behind the scenes and it ls such a strange feeling.

Anyone can go along and watch the judging. Just go to shed 6 behind the TSB arena in Wellington.

From the 16th - 20th of April I took a trip to Nelson Lakes to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. It was such an amazing trip and there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to photograph the tracks.
