Kina. This is what they look like underneath all of their spines. Beautiful, but deadly. When a marine eco system is out of whack, due to climate change, over fishing or otherwise, these guys often take over. They will graze the entire seabed, stripping it if nutrients and sustenance for the other creatures who share the local environment.
We have too many in some areas, and need to find solutions.
