Art is such a channeling of energy.

The energy I feel in creating...

And the energy you feel when interacting with me, and the people on your shoot.

And all that affects the final outcome of your photos.

Im super conscious of showing up to your shoot in thr right headspace and energy that will be right for your shoot.

Newborn sessions need calm safe energy
Family sessions usually loud playful energy, and also soft and loving
Maternity sessions are playful, and loving too but also an honoring too.

Maybe this resonates with you. Maybe it doesn't.

But I always consider every aspect of your photoshoot to make sure you get the best of me and the best result.

And for me. Energy is part of that.

I absolutely love Christmas photos.

The nice ones though. Not the 1min drop in at the mall ones where the kids are usually crying because they have been dropped in the arms of a stranger with a white beard all of a sudden..... 😅

The quieter ones.

The ones where we take 15mins instead of 1.

Where your kids are with the people they love instead of a stranger.

Where the connection of your beautiful family is captured at the end of another year.

Where you can proudly print and share your images to your family and friends this Christmas 🎄

These Christmas photos this year are exactly that.

Remember the feeling of how magic christmas was when you were a kid? The excitement, Santa, sparkly stuff and of course presents 🎁

Well, we are making some of that magic this christmas, with some Christmas Mini Photo-Sessions ✨️

At a quick 15mins, they are just the right amount of time to soak in that beautiful feeling of being together, and have it captured as well - so you have photos to give to family and friends x

These are happening on the 14th November and 5th December, at a beautiful studio in Napier.

Sessions are $249, 5 photos included. Option to upgrade to more images if you wish for $149.

I want you to know this: You don't have to feel beautiful before you book a maternity session.

I know that pregnancy can bring a whole lot of feelings about your changing body.

You might love the idea of having photographs of this time and still feel a bit.. uncomfortable about being in front of the camera.

But I want you to know this:

Both things can be true.

You also need don't need to know your best angles, know how to pose or arrive feeling confident.

That's literally my job 🥰

Ill direct you the whole time into beautiful flattering poses, and use the best light so we can get the absolute best results xx

I'll always respect your boundaries. You never have to show more skin or do anything that doesn't feel right for you - there are always ways to make you look and feel amazing xx

I just want you to know, that if you are sitting on your couch right now, pregnant, really wanting some gorgeous photos, but really not having the confidence to actually do the thing....

Here is me giving you permission to have them.

Because, mama, you flipping deserve it xx

Your pregnancy is worth remembering, exactly as you are.

This season feels a bit strange sometimes huh?

You're growing a baby. Like a real person is inside you! And the strangest thing is that it feels so normal!

But you are preparing for a life thay is about to look so different.

You might be feeling excited, tired, emotional... or all of those things at once! (Probably in the same afternoon if you were anything like me lol 😅)

Maternity photos aren't about pretending pregnancy is always magical fairies and rainbows....

Its about remembering that you were here, in this chapter, before everything changed.

And its my job to guide you through into poses that make you look beautiful, even if you are having a day when you really dont feel that way xx

And ill never ask you to do anything that doesn't feel right for you ❤️

I just want you to know that you dont have to feel a certain way about pregnancy to preserve this part of your story.

Because they will become the most precious things you own xx
