Anyone else 🥰🙈? Remember these are just things I do because I want to / can. These are not set rules and you shouldn’t feel obligated to do the same.
Everyone’s businesses are different and you need to apply what worlds for you and your customers ♥️🙏🏽
1. Most the time I’ll deliver a standard gallery within 24 hours, even if I’ve given myself 1 week in our agreement! The things that contribute to me being able to do this are: ✅ My schedule ✅ If the lighting on that day was top notch which means editing is a lot easier ✅ The ability to LOCK IN.
2. I will always hand cull & edit my own work. I know a lot of photographers use AI, but the times I’ve used Ai, it will leave out some of the beautiful photos that I think should be included in the gallery. So I always ended up going through them myself anyway 😮💨. And I do not trust anyone else to do my editing for me. Not to mention, this is literally job…
3. I’ll go out of my way to take tilted photos 😁. Not every photo needs to be perfectly straight. I think a tilted photo can give a very creative perspective and I love it on occasions 🥰🙌🏼
4. I actually really enjoy it when someone shows me their mood board if they have one 🥰🙌🏼 it really helps me to get a better understanding of what they would love for their day - this can be weddings, engagements or standard photoshoots. But don’t feel pressure to have one! Because this is also my job to help 😍🫶🏼
5. I do not GATEKEEP. I personally don’t feel threatened by other photographers. We are all unique and creative in our own ways. I love to connect and share experiences with one another. 🥹🙏🏽
