Have always wanted to explore this part of NZ so i went and did just that….
I Stayed in Piha for 3 nights doing walks around the area and exploring the town and beach, It was pretty quiet there (it is winter in NZ at the moment) but still enjoyed my time there and the surfers are always out in force 😊🏄‍♂️🌊
Good catchup with the bro its been a while!! 🤣 Lets not leave it that long again aye haha 👌😉

Explore the depths of the unknown, a speck of light amongst the eternal night…
Had the privilege with my family to explore one of Mangaia well known cave systems, the Tuatini Cave located close to Tamarua village and Lake Tiriara, and what an amazing experience!! Got to go through many of the interconnected passageways or look at passages that lead of to ?????? Learnt from our local guide people that used to live in these caves in the past and what they had used to help them get by or defend themselves against other tribal villages then….and visited burial sites as well, littered in some of the dead ends of the cave or in little crevases in the ground covered up only by rocks… 😮
Totally recommend exploring the caves when in Mangaia, would also recommend using a local guide as well as it would be easy to get lost and don’t forget a headtorch!! 📷💀 Will have to come back to explore some more another time as there are other cave systems in Mangaia that are literally untouched 🌿

Always a big fan of low light photography, and in Au-au Enua land there’s plenty of places where light is non existent, great for moody and neon shots, took a few to share for now…
Bicentennial Celebrations are in full swing now I’ve been also full on shooting content and photos and will hopefully have a documentary of our family time in the islands to share…📷

Go to visit this beautiful folk village while in Takayama, Japan 🇯🇵 was so cool visiting old traditional houses and sort of get a sense of how Japanese people used to live during mainly Edo Period (1603-1868) saw farmers and fishermen going about their business, a lot of modern Japanese education trips happening here too at the time learning about historic times, nice and peaceful just walking around admiring simplistic living in nature 🌿📷

This was a lovely garden, one of the top three gardens to visit in Japan, Nature lovers will want to visit this place once in their lifetime, it’s amazing how these places are right on the middle of suburban areas, when you come here you won’t hear any of the noise that comes with the city…. True place of Zen 🌿

When staying at Aoraki Mt Cook village 1 of the most mentioned of things to do there is the Ho**er Valley Track to Ho**er Lake, so decided to check it out…
Great track not too hard just had to get used to the snow walking 🤣 beautiful to be surrounded by snowy mountains and to see the glacial colour of the the water that flows around here!!

Yes, I did see the stars whilst staying at , they took a while to come out and was happy they did so braved the cold temperatures and reeled of a few Astro shots!! 1st one shot at night time, the other one though was shot at 5am next morning, stars out pretty much all night and stay well located out of light pollution, sure was a sight to enjoy 📷👌🥶
I Wouldn’t call myself an pro at taking Astro, but I enjoy the process 🤣

I came here with intention to shoot the church with an Astro setting, but sadly the stars were not out this night 😔, still have to make do with what you have at the moment, and I think this shot came out pretty good!! 📷
I only had 1 night in Lake Tekapo so had only limited time to take in the sights here, as the saying goes “all the more reason to come back” 🤙
