Focus Photography NZIPP 2022 New Zealand Wedding Photographer of the Year. Drop me a line - [email protected] Hi. I’m Chris from Focus Photography.

Based in Canterbury, I’ve been covering weddings and creating portraits for over 10 years now - loving it more than ever! My style: relaxed, candid, natural and non posed. I strive to capture real moments that are visually stunning. With every shoot I’m aiming for that gold award. I’m fussy, but down to earth. Enough about me, I’d love to hear from you! Thanks for looking, Chris.

Yesterday's wedding had us holding our hats with gale force winds, an appropriate place to thank God for some much needed shelter at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake Tekapo

Super lovely couple from Japan - Noriko & Goki met me in Tekapo for their elopement photos last week. We found ourselves in some beautiful light to make the perfect shoot! Love using the 400mm to bring forward the distant mountains in the background.

Just one entry into this year's NZIPP Awards - Evelyn & her pet Fallow deer brought home a Silver Award in the Portrait Category. This is the category where no photoshopping is allowed. In an age where so much fake AI rubbish is ruining the art of true photography it was nice to see this image rewarded.
