A fun Friday! 🤩

A fab shoot today for one of my fave stores, MM Linen, followed by photographing for the Pacific Business Women’s Network and the lovely at the new Tauranga Council building. 📸✨

And now I’m home with a small purchase… and a MUCH larger one, facing an evening of beanbag filling and questioning ALL my life choices. 😂

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the celebration for the opening of Rotherham Law's beautiful new offices in Bethlehem, and what a fantastic space they've created! 🎉

One of the things I love most about my job is meeting people and getting a peek behind the scenes of so many different businesses. You quickly learn that it's not just about how an office looks—it's about the people, the atmosphere, and the culture. You can tell when a place just feels right, and Rotherham Law definitely has that.

A huge congratulations to the whole team on this exciting new chapter. Wishing you every success as you settle into your new home! 🥂

And finally... I may have to stop following them on social media because the algorithm has now decided I need a steady stream of divorce lawyer content... 😂 For the record, I'm very happily married!

Last November I was asked to photograph an author after she won a major literary prize. This week, that book officially launched, and I can't wait to see it on the shelves.

A huge congratulations to Anne Cleary on both winning the Allen & Unwin Fiction Prize 2025 and the launch of her stunning debut novel, *The Nowhere Boy*.

Described as an emotionally charged exploration of what happens when one moment changes everything, it's wonderful to see this achievement come to life after being part of the journey behind the scenes.

Congratulations Anne — wishing you every success with the book launch and all that follows. 📚✨

The day we turned the studio into a little learning environment and brought in some wonderful little models to help with the shoot (although I may be a bit biased 😉).

It was such a fun shoot and a joy to see the confidence-building that makes Little Learning so special.

Hi friends 👋

With some new followers here (thank you and welcome!), I thought it was a good time to re-introduce myself and share a little of the story behind what I do.

I'm Giselle — a branding and headshot photographer, mum, wife, recent kids' hockey coach, and someone who is passionate about helping people show up online with confidence and authenticity.

Before photography, I spent nearly 20 years in banking in London, climbing the corporate ladder and working alongside talented professionals, leaders, and teams. It was a fast-paced world that taught me the value of relationships, personal brand, hard work, and the importance of putting yourself forward for opportunities.

That experience still shapes the way I work today.

One of the things I love most about photography is helping people be seen. Whether you're building a business, growing your career, stepping into leadership, or putting yourself out there for the first time, confidence in front of the camera can make a real difference to how you show up in the world.

I'm especially passionate about helping women step into the spotlight and be visible. Too often, we wait until everything is perfect before putting ourselves out there. I love helping women feel confident enough to take up space, share what they do, and be recognised for it. And of course, I love helping men do the same too.

Four years ago, our family made the move to New Zealand, swapping city life for rural living (yes, it's been a huge adjustment!). Looking back, I can't believe how quickly that time has flown. Since then, I've had the privilege of photographing incredible business owners, professionals, families, and teams, hearing their stories and helping them put their best foot forward.

Whether through photography, business, or future opportunities, I'm passionate about connecting with people, supporting growth, and helping others succeed.
