This beautiful family came from Singapore to NZ for a holiday, and I had the pleasure of capturing the precious moments for them at the end of 2025. The original plan of having the photos taken at McLaren Falls had to be changed to due to weather, we ended up having the photoshoot at the air bnb they stayed at, it was a lovely little place, and we had a lot of giggle together🙂.

Right after the session, the client wrote to me “Best decision working with you - truly! A million thanks for all the laughter, fun and the way you made everything feel so easy and joyful!” That has made my day 😃

Their family dog Buddy was wagging his tail and happy to be part of the photoshoot, he was only 1.5 years old when he was in the last family photo. *Model Call*

We are looking for models aged 5-12 years old for a photoshoot at Tauranga Chinese Culture and Art Centre in Tauranga, to photograph their Chinese cheongsam (Qipao) and costume series.

Models must be 5-12 years old, female or male. Mums are welcome to join the photoshoot too. Must be Tauranga based.

Date: 12 October 2024 (Time TBA)
Location: Historical Village, Tauranga Chinese Culture and Art Centre

As a thank you, the participating family will receive one 8x10 print and its corresponding digital file from the photoshoot.

Photographs taken will be used for the Tauranga Chinese Culture and Art Centre and Susanna Lin Photography’s advertising and promotion purposes.

Hi everyone, I am a Tauranga based portrait photographer and want to expand my business to cover weddings. I’ve photographed a few weddings in the past and it was amazing experience, I am now planning to do more. I am looking for two couples to work with who are getting married in the next 3 months.

I will be offering 2 limited slots for $700 each incl. digital files.

I feel honored and privileged to be asked to photograph this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival Gala hosted by the NZ China Friendship Society Tauranga in Baycourt Community and Arts Centre. The evening has featured a variety of performances, including traditional dances, musical performances and other cultural dance.

Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Mooncake Festival, symbolizes family reunion in Chinese culture, I remember growing up, my family would sit in the lounge, share the mooncakes, and appreciate the moon together.

Thanks to local MPs Sam Uffindell MP Tom Rutherford MP for Bay of Plenty and Nancy Lu for attending and supporting this community event.

It was a great pleasure to meet the team at Wilberforce Foundation for a team photo session. We have first gone through their new website and discussed which style best suits their brand, then we agreed that some natural and outdoor images will incorporate with their brand the best.

While capturing a polished team photo is essential, the process doesn’t have to be boring and tedious, it can be fun and relaxing! We had lots of laughs and fun at this photoshoot for sure!

Mother’s Day to me means spending quality time with my kids 😊, this is one of my favorite photos with them when they were little, we were living in a small relocatable house back then and lighting in the house was not that great, but somehow I’ve come up with this idea to do a silhouette just beside the widow, when my daughter’s face was lightened up as she was curiously watching I held up my son in the air, it’s such a precious moment that I love it so much.

It's showtime! I am fortunate enough to photograph the Gobsmacked musical “The Tale of Dilbert Clancy” at Holy Trinity Tauranga Church and hear the inspirational story of Kate Liao - whose legs were crushed in the 2008 China earthquake, who is now the founder of Morning Star Charity, an organisation that helps disabled children with prosthetic limbs.

A Big shout out to the fantastic team at LoveTheOne (https://lovetheone.co.nz) and Gobsmacked who have made this epic show come to life in just one week's time, it's definitely an unforgettable experience for everyone who have watched the show. Local MPs Sam Uffindell MP, Tom Rutherford MP for Bay of Plenty and Nancy Lu have also attended to support this event.
