Quin's Pond in Winter. c. 2019
After a few people mentioned ice skating on Quin's Pond I went back to my winter files and found this image of the pond and Blue Mountains taken by drone during a snowy August.

In the 10years that I've been here, I've not seen it frozen over such that you could skate on it. A blessing perhaps to not have those extreme low temps. It's a pretty spot no matter what time of year.

BTS - Warm sunshine and stunning spring weather made for perfect conditions today at Jon and Birgit Pemberton's dairy farm in Brydone, Southland.

It was a pleasure catching up with the Pembertons again, this time alongside CountryWide Media Senior Journalist Anne Lee, who is putting together a feature exploring their farming journey, environmental initiatives and perspectives on the future of New Zealand agriculture.

With plenty of exciting developments on the farm, there was no shortage of photo opportunities to complement Anne's story!

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Braeside, a beautiful Waikaka farm owned by David and Elizabeth Smith, for PGG Wrightson’s Property Express Magazine.

Working alongside agent Derek Ayson - PGGWrightson Real Estate, my job was to capture the property in a way that complemented the words of Rob Smith and helped tell the story of Braeside — its land, character and potential.

It’s always a pleasure working with this professional team, especially when the assignment takes me out onto a magnificent local farm with a camera in hand.
