Sun, sand, salty air… and the whole crew together 🐚🌊

This beautiful family session at the beach had everything — Mum & Dad, adult kids, lovely partners, one very cute grandchild & three enthusiastic four-legged helpers who definitely thought the shoot was all about them 🐶🐶🐶

On a hot day in January 2026, Portia and Prince said their I do’s surrounded by family and friends.

The ceremony began with a small hiccup then from there it was all go. Prince began the ceremony with a stylish entrance, walking into the ceremony to his chosen music. He was followed by the flower boys, proudly carrying their man bag of petals as they walked down the aisle to White Wedding by Billy Ido a very fitting choice that perfectly set the mood.

Portia then made her entrance, beautifully accompanied by her dad.

The ceremony itself was filled with meaning and love with readings from both sides of the family, heartfelt vows, and the signing of the registry before the happy couple sealed it all with a kiss.

Afterwards, we headed to the iconic Te Rewa Rewa bridge and surrounding area for photos before returning to the Devon Hotel for the reception. I left Portia and Prince sitting high and proud as husband and wife after the cutting of the cake.

This session was extra special. I’ve known this family for years so with it being a while between family photo sessions & with their youngest heading off to Uni. It felt like the perfect timing just before Christmas.

Beautiful beach light — and Bud the dog stealing the show 🐾✨

So hard to pick which ones to show as a sneaky peek - they are all amazing. This beach is becoming one of my favorite locations!

A few weeks ago, I met this lovely family for their maternity session, and now I got to meet sweet Baby A at home! 🏡

Big siblings couldn’t get enough of their little brother, showering him with so much love. After big siblings headed off to school Baby A and his parents had their own cozy session filled with cuddles and tiny heartwarming moments. 🥰

These in-home newborn sessions are all about capturing those quiet, tender moments that make family life so special. 🥰
