Julia thought she was showing Sam her favourite walking trail here in New Zealand but little did she know how well he had studied that trail and organised for me to be “casually reading a book” at the end of the hike to witness and very important question being asked!

MR AND MRS PATERSON
Built with love, sweat, and countless weekends, their little homestead set the scene for a day that felt entirely their own.
Friends and family travelled from all over the world to be there, and somehow everything came together so perfectly.
The house may still be a work in progress, but the chicken coops ( all 4 of them hand built! ) are thriving so of course, they had to make a guest appearance too.

These two booked me two years in advance for their wedding, and by the time the day arrived, their world had grown in the best way, with their darling little Riley girl by their side and another little addition on the way.
Watching their family grow in the lead-up to this day has been so special. Their engagement session even turned into a sneaky little pregnancy announcement for where I got to be part of the secret!
When the day finally came, it was everything you’d expect from them, wholesome, heartfelt, and completely them. Wrapped in sunshine, surrounded by love, and filled with the people who matter most.
