Kia Ora everyone :D Recently I had the privilege of showcasing yet another one of our beautiful wahine- Wairua Nicholas for my Kakahu Calendar Project. (soon to be released)
Im proud to say that since taking these photo shoots most of these beautiful wahine have had great opportunities for modelling, photography etc which is one of the many reasons I chose to do this project. Another reason being - to showcase the very talented hand crafted work of our Weavers and maori designers.
A big thank you to my Aunty Mereana Ngatai who made the paua neck piece- which is apart of her amazing collection from Mereana Ngatai Fashion and also generously allowed us to photograph her amazing blue feathered rapaki- created by Theresa Murray.

Kia Ora whanau! Sorry I have been MIA for so long!! I've become a mother to a beautifull set of twin girls who are now 5 months old and have taken up most of my time. I won't be able to do any photography until the girls are in child care. However, I'm still doing makeup as I can work from home. I will be back as soon as you know it!!
