I'm biased as I'm able to photograph the Come Together - Live Albums Tour in Christchurch at the Christchurch Town Hall but I do have to say what legendary performances we are getting each time. A backbone of stunning musicians and equally brilliant singers - truly deserving of 'kiwi supergroup'. This concert - Stop Making Sense (Talking Heads from the 80s) - they appeared to go all out. Once again the musicianship was absolutely on point, even bringing in a whole heap of analogue gear to get the sound - and it sounded great! - but they also reproduced the highly respected concert ... there was all sorts being wheeled in, musos and singers included as they all took on different instruments, such is their talent.
Kudos to the lighting guy who always does a great job, and let's also say hi to te sound guys who make it happen in what is a great venue for sound.
I hope the images capture some of what their shows bring. They're amazing!
