Friday was an amazing opening night, with torrents of happy people, and beautiful clear weather. 🥰 If you haven't been to Bayleys Te Ramaroa - Nelson Light Festival yet, tonight may be the best opportunity weather wise!

Come and see the Enchanted Forest✨, 5.00 - 9.30pm, entrance is left off the Cathedral carpark driveway (carpark is closed).

I'm excited to be contributing to Nelson's iconic Te Ramaroa light festival this year. 🎉 Open to the public from 5.30pm, 3 - 7 July 2026.

One of the magical things about Bayleys Te Ramaroa is the chance to experience work from some of New Zealand's leading light artists alongside incredible local talent.

Meet Rachel Hampton, a multidisciplinary artist and maker based right here in Nelson. Her installation, Enchanted Forest, transforms Cathedral Gardens into a whimsical world where bubbles drift through the trees, magical creatures hide amongst the botanicals, and wonder awaits around every corner.
