A while back I got to do something pretty special. I was hired by Airbnb to head down to the beautiful Nest Tree Houses to photograph the host and the stay for the Airbnb Host Awards.
This experience was absolutely amazing, and the award couldnāt have gone to a more deserving place or host. The level of thought and care thatās gone into this relaxing treehouse retreat is next level. The atmosphere is peaceful, cozy, and completely immersive, with stunning mountain views that make you instantly slow down and unwind.
From soaking in the spa bath on the deck, to unwinding in the oak barrel sauna, every part of the stay feels intentionally designed for rest and relaxation. Guests are pampered with homemade bread, family-recipe muesli, homemade cookies from a recipe by the hostās favourite Christchurch spot before it was sadly destroyed in the earthquake, local wines, and so many other thoughtful touches.
Itās those little details that really make this place stand out. I couldnāt recommend Nest Tree Houses enough! If youāre looking for something truly special, this is it.
