Had a great day at Waimakariri Dog Training Club's indoor show today. I always enjoy the indoor shows, with the venue being the place I shot my very first agility photos! Here's a few of my favourites from the day. There are several more that could have made the cut for this post but I had to stop somewhere. Lucky Lava gets a double feature!

TW: Pet Loss 💔

Recently, I had the privilege of accompanying a wonderful human and her best mate, Sonny, on his final walk.

It reminded me how important photographs can become in the days we wish we could hold onto a little longer.

From time to time, I’d like to offer complimentary end-of-life sessions for dogs nearing the end of their journey, particularly for families where professional photography may not otherwise be possible.

These sessions will be very limited due to my work/family schedule, and emotional capacity, but if you feel this may be something meaningful, but otherwise out of reach for your family, you’re welcome to get in touch with me privately, and I’ll see what I can do 🧡

Whoopsy! Forgot my business birthday which was earlier this month. How is it nearly the end of May already? Also, how has it been 4yrs of Phodography?! Thank you all for supporting me through my ups and downs and delayed albums 😅 I’ve met some amazing friends along the way, of both the 2 and 4 legged kind. As a wee thanks, I’ve decided to make ALL pre 2026 albums, buy one get one free. No expiry date on this one! And to make things easy, we’ll forget I had a price rise in October, so the albums from the latter part of last year (including NZDAC) will be based off my old $10/photo rate. So you can nab yourself 2 photos for 10 bucks! No limit, go nuts!
