GEISHA TOWN KYOTO

Special moment in time where the bug hit, the planes stopped, the people returned home, except for a few Gaijins that decided to stay and enjoy the ride.

Usually this street is full with people, during the night & day, however this was not what I found when I arrived to the Geisha District.

Priceless.

For those who ask, I am not in Japan at the moment, just getting some editing done as well as integrating three years of living in the land of the rising sun.

When the bug hit the world, there was silence. Most of our friends returned home, a few Gaijins stayed to enjoy the ride.

Usually, the streets in Kyoto are full during day & night. Super touristic place.
Which is a bit of a double blade for photographers.

For me it was priceless to experience the streets of Geisha District, at night empty.

And for those who ask, No, I am not in Japan, just getting some work done that I was too busy to do while I was having the time of my life.

Processing this images, is a way for me to integrate this three year experience living and breathing the land of the rising sun.
