Queenstown Photography Club is a friendly club that welcomes keen photographers of all levels to meet up, develop their photography skills, share experiences, have fun and reach their artistic goals. is a non-profit organisation of both amateur and professional photographers alike. Our primary goal is to promote and support the art and science of photography as a means of creative expression achie

ved through awareness, education and participation. We strive to provide an enjoyable and stimulating forum through which members can receive practical information to help improve their technique, develop their artistic vision, share ideas and keep pace with industry trends. The QPC meets on the first Monday of each month (except January) at 7pm at the St John Club Rooms, Douglas Street, Frankton. Competitions provide members with the opportunity to view other member’s work as well as receive valuable feedback on their own work from judges within the photographic industry. Additionally, photographic outings are held on a regular basis (see our Events Calendar). We're excited to welcome a special guest speaker, , Tonight @ 7pm! Sandra will be sharing her creative journey, a selection of her stunning work, and insights into her photographic process.

A bit about Sandra:

- With a background as an award-winning photographer, she now teaches Photoshop and AI-assisted creative workflows internationally.
- She is an Adobe Community Expert and was recognised as a Top Evangelist in 2025 for her ongoing contribution to creative education.
- Has presented for organisations including the Royal Photographic Society, Camversation (UK) and the Photographic Society of America.
- Has been invited to work with platforms such as DxO, Leonardo AI, and Topaz in the context of her creative and educational work
- Her work focuses on creative process and visual storytelling, using tools — including AI — to explore ideas, make decisions, and shape the final artwork.

On Monday, 1 December, we gathered at the Queenstown Bowls Club for our Annual Awards Night — a wonderful evening celebrating creativity, community, and a bit of fun on the lawn bowls green! A huge thank you to the Queenstown Bowls Club for hosting us, and to all our members who joined in and had a go at bowls.
