A morning that felt like the ultimate date. 💛

Marie approached me about a couples session in Auckland to celebrate her husband completing his master’s after ten years of study. We planned the morning around places that meant something to them, weaving a little of their story into each stop. ☺️

We started with coffee at Mission Bay Cafe , then wandered down to the yacht club they belong to. A toast by the water, plenty of laughter, and then into the city for portraits outside the university to celebrate his studies.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how to bring more layers of meaning into my portrait sessions. Familiar places, shared passions, achievements worth pausing to celebrate. 🥂✨

My hope is that, years from now, these photographs will remind them of how this chapter felt, what they’d accomplished and the life they were building together.

Bracu is one of my favourite local wedding venues! 🌿 Set among established olive groves, it’s such a beautiful place to celebrate - and the food is always AMAZING!

A few highlights from last Saturday. 💛 Sarah and Ian had the most beautiful spring wedding at Bridgewater Country Estate.

It was special to capture Sarah getting ready in her family home. This was a beautiful quiet moment to pause before her first look with her bridesmaids and parents.

Surrounded by native New Zealand forest, their ceremony was full of love and connection. I’m looking forward to editing the rest of Sarah and Ian’s gallery over the coming weeks! ☺️

How epic is this?! Olivia and Layne’s wedding at Cheltenham Beach fell on the same day was being filmed there with .

The streets had been covered in gravel, vintage cars and horse-drawn carriages had been brought in, and local houses had been repainted to create a period look.

It was awesome being able to get some photos with the horses and around the transformed streets! ☺️

Anna & Michael’s wedding feature is now live on the blog ✨

Their intimate Auckland wedding took place on the Āwhitu Peninsula, surrounded by their closest family and their much-loved dog. 😊

After sharing their vows, we headed out to Hamilton’s Gap for the most incredible sunset portraits. Big skies, wild coastline and such a beautiful way to finish the day.
