Some great names have already entered will current NZ Champ Todd Hemingway of Tauranga continue his stunning form he managed 2 in the recent North Island Superstock Champs, 26v Kaelin Mooney son of Dion Mooney is a hard fast campaigner and every one who's a real superstock fan Knows the name Mooney yes one of Waganui's favourite sons could be worth a punt. Then we have the Uhlenberg boys they have been around a while now and 28s Blair Uhlenberg scored 2NZ at Meeanee in 2024. Brad is contracted under Wanganui this season and is coming to grips with his Rees Race Car. 808c Aucklander Scott Tennant is contracted to Woodford Glen and results speak for them selfs He won the NZ Superstock Teams Title with Christchurch Glen Eagles last season. he was second in the 2023 NZ stockcar Champs in 2023, & Has shown he means on a mission by winning the recent North Island Superstocks. He is the son of 1989 NZ Champ winner Dave Tennant. look out for former 1NZ Palmerston North's 94p William Humphries in his new radical self built beast. 10G Peter Rees won the NZs last time Wellington hosted the event , Peter has won every title he has ever raced in and most cars on the tracks are built is his Rees Race Cars warehouse. 126G Asher Rees has nothing to prove he has 3NZ titles to his name but could he be NZs first to take 4 NZ Superstock Titles. 127G Ethan Rees has been knocking on the door for his NZ title the former World 240 Champ knows were he's at and after the weekend mite be able to get the monkey off his back. 89w Dale Robertson is no stranger to winning a NZ title he won the 2005 NZ Stockcar Champs and also placed 2nd & 3rd in the stockcars in his early years. Also a second in the 2024 NZ Grand Prix shows the mans in form not only that Dales in a new car own his home track. Should Jamie Hamilton enter he's a former World 240 title holder and is normally in fine form. Brendan Tye has recently shown that he is in top form winning the Manawatu Superstock Champs, And Wellington track is really Brendan's home track this is were he cut his teeth racing and Brendon is the son of the one and the only Ron Tye who also happens to be entered in the champs. 7p Shane Mellopp was the high flyer last time Wellington Hosted the NZs he has a new Rees Race Car this season with a few handling problems of late but he will be hoping to have the car sorted for the big event. 971c Jayden Ward knows how to win being a former NZ stockcar Champion he's always in to the thick of the action.. 5G Josh Prentice is a winner winner chicken dinner, being a former NZ stockcar champ, in 2023 he was crowned 2NZ in Superstocks . Come 2nd in the 2024 North Island Superstock Champs. 2021 he was 2nd in the World 240 Champs the last season won the World 240s. a word of warning watch him. look out also for the joblin brothers 72p Simon Joblin has 3NZ titles to his name as well as 2 World 240 titles. 19m Tauranga's Kerry Remnant missed last years event ya never know he hasn't had a podium at the NZs although he's always been well on pace. Although Kerry won the 2003 NZ Grand Prix at Gisborne and he is also put many years into teams racing with Baypark Busters. 172p Lewis Ward's a new name in the ranks but he's been brought up by former NZ Champ Graeme Ward & of cause been around Jayden Ward the only thing that Lewis will lack is lack of track time although he raced in mini stocks.
